[ Kaito had to go and buy a tarot deck for this. They're not the kind of cards he's accustomed to playing with, pretty as the illustrations are. After mulling over them for a day, he thinks he has an approximate location.

He heads out on a night that seems relatively clear and searches for a park with a water feature and good view of the sky. It's only when he gets there that he realises he probably should've asked about a meeting time first. Good thing he brought the network device with him. ]

[ He jogs forward to meet the werebear. The thing on Loki's back doesn't get much of a look at first. Not until Loki holds it up. ]

[ He immediately starts to wrap it loosely around his neck. Ahh, so warm. Right after he settles it, his head cocks with interest. Kid's voice takes over without him thinking much about it. ]

[ Another drawn out 'ohh!' as he sees the card suit patterns in the cards he's shuffling through. They are returned carefully to their box and the magician beams at Loki. ]

[ He'd give the werebear a hug but, uh, that'd be like squeezing a plush toy. Actually, speaking of them-- ]

Oh hang on! I've got something for you too.

[ The cards are slotted into his bag. A gentle tug brings out a stuffed teddy bear wearing a small bracelet of coloured crystal. ]

I wanted to give you a doll of myself but-- I wouldn't let him.

[ Well, Loki is small enough for that arrangement to work out. Kaito has slept in spots just as weird (for a human). Dog must have been pretty small to fit in a drawer. ]

You'd think, but there's actually a fireplace in there! I guess it's a pretty hardy tree...the sort you'd want around to prevent forest fires or some shit, you know?
